How the Math Works
Proportional allocation — each compound's share of a draw is proportional to its share of the vial's total mg content.
Total vial content. Total mg in the vial = the sum of every component's individual mg content. Basic arithmetic — the defining feature of a blend.
Concentration. Overall concentration (mg/mL) = total vial mg ÷ BAC water (mL). Each individual compound's concentration is its own mg ÷ the same water volume. Standard reconstitution arithmetic, applied per-component.
Draw volume from your target compound. Draw volume = target dose ÷ that compound's own concentration — so the draw is sized around the compound you actually care about hitting a specific dose of. Direct application of the concentration formula.
Everyone else's dose in that same draw. Once the draw volume is fixed, every other compound's delivered amount = draw volume × that compound's own concentration. The same physical draw pulls a fixed volume of solution containing all dissolved compounds proportionally.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I just target a dose for each compound separately?
Because they're dissolved in the same liquid — one draw delivers a fixed volume containing all of them at once. You can't independently adjust one compound's dose without changing every other compound's dose in that same draw, since they all share the same concentration ratio.
What if I want a specific ratio between two compounds that's different from what's in the vial?
You can't get a different ratio from a single blended vial — the ratio is fixed by however much of each compound was combined into it. To use a different ratio, you'd need separate vials of each compound reconstituted individually, or a custom-compounded blend with your desired ratio.
How do I find out how many mg of each compound are actually in my vial?
Check your product label or the supplier's certificate of analysis — this calculator only works with numbers you provide and can't verify what's actually in a specific product.
Does the order I add compounds in matter?
No — the math treats every component the same way regardless of order. List them however makes sense to you.
Can I use this for a 3+ compound blend?
Yes — add as many rows as your blend actually contains. The math scales to any number of components.
What if two components have very different concentrations?
That's normal and expected for blends — this tool handles it automatically since each component's delivered amount is calculated from its own individual concentration, not an average.
