⚠ Worth knowing. Hypoglycemia is the immediate risk — IGF-1 has insulin-like activity and the LR3 modification makes it act far longer than the native peptide. Because IGF-1 promotes cell proliferation, existing or undiagnosed malignancy is the commonly cited contraindication.
